A Revista Acadêmica Online, com prazer, introduz o estudo intitulado “Delimitação da Estação Chuvosa e Ocorrência de Veranicos no Município Deitapuranga-GO" de lavratura dos pesquisadores: Mirian de Freitas Silva Barbosa, Laís Naiara Gonçalves dos Reis, Marco Túlio Martins, Karine Machado Silva.
O clima é de grande importância para as atividades humanas, como por exemplo, a agricultura que é dependente das variações climáticas que podem acarretar imprevistos no plantio da agricultura. As condições climáticas afetam diretamente na umidade armazenada nos solos, que condicionam a germinação e o crescimento das plantações. Todo cultivo perpassa pelos limites térmicos mínimos e máximos ótimos. Dessa maneira, é importante conhecer e delimitar a estação chuvosa de uma determinada região para auxiliar no planejamento agrícola da mesma. Outra caracterização importante pertencente à estação chuvosa é a ocorrência de veranicos. O estudo dos veranicos é muito importante por apresentarem riscos graves para a agricultura e segurança hídrica. Uma vez que, no verão as taxas de evaporação e evapotranspiração são muito elevadas. Os veranicos são caracterizados pela ocorrência de dias sem chuvassignificativas no período chuvoso. Esses períodos são prejudiciais para as plantas, as culturas agrícolas e principalmente as de sequeiros (sem irrigação). O objetivo desta monografia é demonstrar o início e o fim da estação chuvosa e o fim, entre os anos de 1969 até 2015, para o município de Itapuranga em Goiás, bem como quantificar os veranicos presentes nesta estação. Como resultado da pesquisa, a estação chuvosa em Itapuranga – GO pode ser marcada pela ocorrência em média de quatro veranicos, sendo um acima de 12 dias, o que pode acarretar prejuízos nas atividades agrícolas, dependendo da espécie que for adotada. Não distante da classificação de Köppen, os dados mostraram que o município apresenta duas estações bem definidas, verão chuvoso e inverno seco. Os anos de 2001 e 2007 mostraram uma queda na precipitação no período chuvoso.

Abstract:
The climate is of great importance for human activities, for example, agriculture that is dependent on the climatic variations that can lead to unforeseen in the planting of agriculture. The climatic conditions affect directly the humidity stored in the soils, that condition the germination and the growth of the plantations. All cultivation passes through the minimum and maximum thermal limits. In this way, it is important to know and delimit the rainy season of a certain region to assist in the agricultural planning of the same. Another important characterization pertaining to the rainy season is the occurrence of dry spells. The study of dry spells is very important because it presents serious risks for agriculture and water security. Since in summer the rates of evaporation and evapotranspiration are very high. Dry Spells are characterized by the occurrence of days without significant rainfall in the rainy season. These periods are harmful to plants,agricultural crops and especially those of drylands (without irrigation). The objective of this monograph is to demonstrate the beginning and the end of the rainy season and the end of the thirtieth year from 1969 to 2015 for the municipality of Itapuranga in Goiás, as well as quantify the dry spells present at this station. As a result of the research, the rainy season in Itapuranga - GO can be marked by the occurrence on average of four dry spells ones, one being over 12 days, which can lead to losses in agricultural activities, depending on the species adopted. Not far from the classification of Köppen, the data showed that the municipality has two well defined seasons, rainy summer and dry winter. The years 2001 and 2007 showed a fall in precipitation in the rainy season.
