A Revista Acadêmica Online, com prazer, introduz o estudo intitulado “Efeitos da Estimulação Sensório-Motora Precoce no Desenvolvimento Neuropsicomotor de Prematuros" de lavratura do pesquisador e pesquisadoras: Edianes Londres Sampaio, Fabíola Joplin Alves da Silva, Izabela Cristina Ferreira e Silva, Rodrigo Santos Araújo e Profª. orientadora Ana Donatti.
A prematuridade tem sido um dos maiores desafios da saúde, uma vez que afeta o desenvolvimento neuropsicomotor dos bebês com idade gestacional inferior a 37 semanas, devido o sistema nervoso central e sensório-motor ainda estarem imaturos e vulneráveis quando comparados aos dos bebês a termo. A estimulação sensório-motora realizada por uma equipe multidisciplinar é utilizada como intervenção precoce nestes grupos de neonatos, visando a facilitação do desenvolvimento desses pacientes, o mais próximo da normalidade. Objetivos: Identificar e descrever os efeitos da estimulação sensório-motora precoce no desenvolvimento neuropsicomotor de bebês prematuros. Método: Foi realizada uma revisão sistemática baseada no PreferredReportingItems for SystematicReviewsand Meta-Analyses (PRISMA), organizada e conduzida de forma independente por quatro pesquisadores, sobre o tema - Os efeitos da estimulação sensório-motora precoce em bebês prematuros. Resultados: Os 13 artigos incluídos revelam que a ESM iniciada de forma precoce promove repercussões em curto, médio e longo prazo, contribuindo para a melhora dos eventos fisiológicos vitais, acelerando a maturação cerebral e do tônus muscular, e influenciando na redução do tempo de hospitalização e na morbidade. Conclusão: Conclui-se que a intervenção realizada por uma equipe multidisciplinar promove um desenvolvimento mais adequado de acordo com a idade dos pacientes através de estímulos precoces que trabalham a percepção dos sentidos e movimentos, que seriam feitos no ambiente intra-uterino.

ABSTRACT Prematurity has been one of the biggest health challenges, since it affects the neuropsychomotor development of babies with a gestational age of less than 37 weeks, because the central nervous and sensorimotor systems are still immature and vulnerable when compared to full-term babies. Sensorimotor stimulation performed by a team multidisciplinary approach is used as an early intervention in these groups of neonates, aiming at facilitating the development of these patients, the closest to normal. Objective: Identify and describe the effects of early sensorimotor stimulation on development neuropsychomotor function of premature babies. Method: A systematic review based on in the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA), organized and conducted independently by four researchers, on the topic - The effects of Early sensorimotor stimulation in premature babies. Results: The 13 articles included reveal that ESM initiated early promotes short, medium and long-term repercussions term, contributing to the improvement of vital physiological events, accelerating the maturation brain and muscle tone, and influencing the reduction of hospitalization time and morbidity. Conclusion: It is concluded that the intervention performed by a multidisciplinary team promotes a more adequate development according to the age of the patients through precocious stimuli that work the perception of the senses and movements, which would be done in the intrauterine environment.
